We want to show you our thanks for continually investing in the success of our student-athletes. To ensure fairness and equity, donors are ranked on a point system based on their contributions. It is used when assigning tickets for away and post-season events and parking privileges for home events. Accumulating points will place donors into ascending levels, each providing unique benefits.
Your support matters! Whether making an annual fund gift, choosing to support a specific team, endowment or scholarship, or participating in one of our Leadership Giving Societies, your gift impacts nearly 350 student-athletes on the Hill! Gifts made to WKU Athletics offer an opportunity for including Priority Points as a way of recognizing and rewarding your support. Annual Fund Priority Points are awarded as follows:
Donors are ranked based on their Hilltopper Athletic Foundation pledge made prior to the Priority Deadline – May 31.
Capital, Scholarship, Endowment, Sport-Specific, and other gifts earn partial Priority Points under the Championship Effort Fund. Those gifts are NOT utilized in determining rank or priority for home/season-ticket related decisions and do not earn Championship Effort membership benefits.
We make certain to reward our supporters for their continued support. One such way donor loyalty is rewarded is through the accumulation of priority points. Your points are a direct correlation to your continued support for WKU Athletics.
Points are awarded based on your giving to either of the two Annual Funds – Athletics Access or Championship Effort.
Priority Points, along with the new “Tier” system are utilized to determine your position amongst your fellow HAF donors when it comes to allocating the following requests:
In order for an accurate representation of your commitment to WKU Athletics to be reflected in your total, your support of the HAF must be made in full by May 31st or you must be on a payment plan on file with the Hilltopper Athletic Foundation. Failure to do so may result in forfeited points and opportunities throughout the year.
Donations to a capital campaign and/or other restricted athletics giving (i.e. facility projects, endowments, sport-specific enhancement funds, etc.) do not secure Annual Fund (Athletics Access or Championship Effort) benefits; however, points are calculated on those donations.
Example: A total annual donation of $2,000 with $1,000 being a sport-specific gift to Men’s Basketball and $1,000 to the Athletics Access Fund will secure a membership with benefits at the Big Red Level. Points, however, will be calculated on the entire $2,000 donation – the sport-specific donation will be counted the same as a ‘Championship Effort’ donation equivalent.
Home games only are effected by your “Athletics Access” donation
Your loyal support and passion is critical in keeping the Hilltoppers competitive.
